Phase 1

Phase 1 of this encounter lasts from 100% to 79%, during this phase you will encounter voice, shriek, renauds and the boss itself.

The boss will use attacks such as circle blade, tail slap, which will deal moderate amounts of damage to the tank. At certain intervals of the fight she will cast her voice, this will always target 1 tank, 1 healer and 1 dps.

For circle blade, it's not worth running in and out to avoid the damage as main tank. Everyone else should move out to avoid the damage to prevent unnecessary raid healing.

If you are caught looking at the boss when voice goes off, instead of being petrified she will gain a stacking buff of increased damage that will last until the encounter is over.

Additionally if you are caught looking at a player, they will be petrified, the cone that is released when the voice goes off is roughly 90 degrees and will extend for a very large distance across the battlefield.

For each class they handle things a bit differently.

Healer's Voice

When a healer is set with voice they should be looking at a single point away from the party where no one will be. This is usually facing away from where the tank is and pointed to where the battlefield exit is once the encounter is over. This location is roughly near or where the boss is spawned at the start of the encounter.

Additionally there is a setting in your configuration that makes your character to turn the target they have targeted when performing an action, it is strongly advised that you disable this feature for this encounter as it will greatly reduce the chances of petrifying the tank, other players and giving the boss a stack of increased damage.

Tank's Voice

If you are the main tank when you are targeted with this, make sure you are not standing in the bosses area circle when targeted and face to the outside of the arena, the area behind the main tank is considered a no-mans land and should not be crossed by anyone at any time because of tail slap and tank's voice.

If you are the offtank and you get targeted with this ability, simply walk to the outside of the arena and hug the edge to avoid hitting anyone with the voice.

DPS Voice

Same thing as off-tank, turn and walk to the edge and wait for it to go off.

Ranaud's

Renauds are big cyclopes monsters, they will tether onto the person who performs an action on them and the tether will only be broken once the player has been killed, additionally these renauds will hit for several 10's of thousands of damage so if you get caught by any of these you are dead on the first hit.

When a Renaud is picked up they will gain a heavy debuff slowing their movement to 50%

It is strongly advised to have a summoner pick these up and kite these to a pre-determined location for your healers to hit with voice, they should be facing the healers when you are ready to bind them ideally.

Once they are at the location that you want them to be, cast a miasma on the Renaud and it will reduce its movement speed further from 50% to 100% and this will essentially bind the Renaud in place and have them set up for the voice.

It is important to mention that there can only be a maximum of 4 Renauds up at all times, once there are 4 up there will be no more that will spawn on the field, so if the kiter can line up 4 in a way that they can all be petrified by voice they will not have to be worried about any longer during the encounter.

If you attack a Renaud once it is petrified you will 1 shot it and if you do this when a shriek is about to go out you may result in wiping the raid if it is the only Renaud that is up.

Shriek

This debuff will be placed on a player at random, and when it goes off will petrify everyone in a 360 degree radius across the whole arena, the person that has the shriek will not be affected by any petrify effect and the way you prevent the entire raid from being petrified is by moving behind the Renaud's that have been placed by the summoner and frozen by healer's

They will act as a shield and prevent the raid from being petrified by a 90 degree cone roughly from where they stand, so it is best that the party stay within that perimeter when Shriek is out on the battlefield.

Phase 2

In Phase 2 the boss will summon 3 Lamia add's to assist her in the fight, staggered at about 30s apart from each other this is your first encounter as a small DPS check.

The first add will spawn near where the boss had been spawned for the start of the encounter. The second add will spawn near the entrance and the final add will spawn.

Tank these near the main tank, close enough that you will be inside the cone of safety by the Renauds, but far enough away that you won't be overlapping circle blades to make either dps or both tanks take additional damage.

Periodicity during the encounter she will turn and shoot a fire ring on one or two random targets, stay spread out to avoid players taking additional damage from the attack as it could result in potentially killing others.

This is a rough diagram of where the adds should spawn and in their order.

Once the adds are down, continue to deal with the mechanics of the first phase and push the boss down to 55% for the start of the third phase.

Phase 3

At the start of Phase 3 you will be greeted with 4 adds, these adds are stationary and cannot be tanked, and will attack targets at random with a rain of death type attack that will hit for about 500+ damage to each target.

The ground will also start to light up with a pinkish purple, if you stand in this you will receive a poison dot, additionally you run the risk of being killed instantly because these platforms will explode and kill anyone inside of them.

The 3 rings of the platform will only light up one at a time giving plenty of safe areas to stand, Move to the nearest safe spot if you are the main tank and proceed with the phase and you will encounter a new mechanic from the main boss, Red Lotus Blade.

This attack will deal high damage in a combo with tail swipe which will add more stress onto healers in the fight.

Push the boss to 25% and prepare for the final phase.

Phase 4

The start of this phase will begin with a new add spawning, this add has a very deadly attack called Petrifaction. Anyone looking at the enemy when this attack is ready to go off will be petrified, avoid this by just turning your character away.

Platforms will continue to glow and explode during this phase, when the first petrifaction goes off and if the melee isn't targeted with voice, perform a LB3 on the add and kill it as soon as possible.

The boss will then display it's final mechanic, it will gain the ability petrifaction from the add that is killed, look away to avoid being petrified and continue to handle the voice and shriek and continue to push the boss and you will be well on your way to getting High Allagan loot, an oil, a sand and a tomestone from the encounter.
